Both of our mothers were in town for the big event. Gama (my mom) was at the hospital with us and Mimi (C's mom) took Ella Kate to Little Gym and came over right away for her to meet her new little sister.

Amelia was UGA's good luck charm for 3 weeks running. I guess our luck ran out, though, last weekend when we played FL. BUT, we did keep the score close, and that counts for a lot!!!

Ella Kate has been a wonderful big sister. She's doting and caring and always concerned about Amelia (especially with all the crying!) being happy. She asks for her all the time and has named every new toy and stuffed animal "Mil" or "Millie."

The weekend before our Amelia arrived we went to the hot air baloon festival with the Goodletts. Ella Kate loves to play with Noah and Amelia and they are so sweet with her!

Ella Kate's friend Claire turned 3 just before she did and her baby brother was due on the same day as Amelia (but arrived a week early as opposed to a week late). Claire had a pony party and it was SO much fun.

Ella Kate's favorite part of the party was decorating the pony. They had brushes with glitter and an endless supply of stickers. The pony didn't even notice and Ella Kate hasn't stopped talking about it since!
